Runescape High Alchemy Calculator

High Alchemy (also called: alching or high alch) is a non-combat magic spell that is used to convert items into gold. Casting high alchemy remains as the most popular way to train magic (especially in F2P where training options are very limited). The reason for its popularity is because of its efficiency and the fact that it's relatively cheap and in some cases you can even make a profit which wouldn't be possible when using other magic training methods. Another fast, and cost efficient way to train magic is by using Superheat Item spell.

The purpose of this special calculator is to help you plan the most cost-efficient way of using high alchemy. We have gathered high alchemy values of every single item on Runescape, and this calculator lists only those items whose high alchemy value is close to its market price value. High Alchemy spell needs 1x Nature Rune and 5x Fire Runes. This calculator does not factor in the price of Fire Runes! Always wield the Staff of Fire to maximize profits while alching.

Experience per hour when using High Alchemy

It takes about three seconds to cast the alchemy spell and you gain 65 experience each time. In one hour, it is possible to alch as much as 1,200 items for a total of 78,000 magic experience.

High Alchemy and Mouse Keys

Mouse Keys are a computer feature that allows the keyboard to replace the functions of your mouse. Such feature is very useful when alching because when mouse keys are enabled, clicking number 5 on your keyboard will initiate a left mouse click. To enable mouse keys, press ALT + left SHIFT + NUMLOCK (windows only)

Grand Exchange Restrictions

As with most items on Grand Exchange have a limit on how much of that item a player could possibly buy in four hours. By default, the calculator shows all items regardless of its buy limit, but if you want to buy in bulk, you may wish to hide items with a low trade limit using GE Limit Filter. A value of ?? indicates that the limit is unknown. Keep in mind that no such restrictions apply to player-to-player trades.

Old School High Alchemy Values

This alchemy calculator supports both Runescape versions by maintaining price data for each version. Simply check Runescape 2007 Old School Price Mode checkbox, and the calculator will adjust the alchemy values and price data based on the Old School Runescape.
